Frederick “Rick” Schleipman is an associate attorney at Votava Nantz & Johnson, LLC. He focuses his practice on civil litigation, including auto/truck accidents, wrongful death, premises liability, medical malpractice, insurance disputes, and business to business disputes.
Rick grew up in St. Louis and earned his law degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City where he graduated magna cum laude. Before attending law school, Rick served in the United States Navy for six years as an Arabic language analyst.
Prior to joining VNJ Law in 2020, Rick worked as an associate attorney for a civil defense firm in Kansas City where he learned the ins and outs of how personal injury, malpractice, and insurance claims are defended before and during litigation. In his current role with VNJ Law, Rick uses his experience to zealously advocate for clients who were injured by corporations and individuals.
Outside of work, Rick enjoys running, cycling, playing guitar, and following the St. Louis Blues, Cardinals, and Sporting KC.
