Frederick “Rick” Schleipman is an associate attorney at Votava, Nantz & Johnson. He focuses his practice on civil litigation, including auto and trucking accidents; wrongful death, injuries sustained at someone else’s home or business, and medical malpractice.
Rick grew up in St. Louis and earned his law degree from the University of Missouri – Kansas City, where he graduated magna cum laude. Before attending law school, Rick served in the United States Navy for six years as an Arabic language analyst.
Prior to joining VNJ Law in 2020, Rick worked as an associate attorney for a civil defense law firm in Kansas City, where he learned the ins and outs of how personal injury, malpractice, and insurance claims are defended before and during litigation. In his role with VNJ Law, Rick uses his experience to zealously advocate for clients who were injured by corporations and individuals
Outside of work, Rick enjoys running, cycling, playing guitar, and following Sporting KC and the St. Louis Blues and Cardinals.
