Focused on results, resolution, and getting deals done, Brian is highly skilled in effective communication and negotiation thanks to his richly varied work and life experience. As an attorney, he seeks practical and efficient resolution for his clients, being willing to keep claims and lawsuits moving to resolution and keeping clients informed on the status, progress, and next steps of their cases.
Before attending law school, Brian Duke was a Class A CDL truck driver for three years and a transportation freight broker for five years. He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 2023. Before joining Votava, Nantz & Johnson, he defended trucking and insurance companies, working on notable cases with high exposure to the companies and insurers.
Brian is married with two children and two dogs. In his free time, you can find him practicing Brazilian jiu jitsu, making music, cooking, or playing chess. He also earned an undergraduate degree in advanced biblical studies from Calvary University.
